Town of Bel Air Annual Kite Festival

Rockfield Park Ballfields.
Kite flying for kids of all ages along with great music and food for the whole family. Volunteers will be on hand to help kite flying novices. 10 am – 4pm.
Admission is FREE and FREE kites while supplies last.
The packaging for the free kites will include a special insert paying tribute to the late co-founder of the Kite Festival, Allen E. Ault. Mr. Ault, who died in May of 2024 at the age of 88, founded the festival with Chris Schlehr, the Bel Air town administrator at the time, and Paul Hines, who died in 2007.
The first Kite Festival was held on April 15, 2006.
