In celebration of the 125th anniversary of the construction of the historic Liriodendron in Bel Air, MD, the non-profit Liriodendron Foundation will be holding a special Summer Soiree on Friday, August 25 from 6 to 9 pm. County Executive Bob Cassilly and Director of Administration Rob McCord are serving as Honorary Chairs of the event.
This exclusive event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and a signature cocktail, and entertainment by Ravita Jazz, all in the elegant splendor of the historic mansion and lush grounds.
Proceeds from the event will support the Liriodendron Foundation’s Museum Project – a significant renovation of the mansion’s current Museum Rooms and the addition of museum elements throughout the first floor and garden areas. The project will honor the legacy of Dr. Howard Atwood Kelly and the Kelly family and celebrate local history.
The event will be held rain or shine and is open to those 21 years and older. Garden party attire requested.
