BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES – CHEYENNE MOCCASINS: A GLIMPSE OF NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE
Gary Scholl will transport us to the world of the Cheyenne through their history and culture. He is a teacher at the John Carroll High School, as well as a member of the Red Moon Gourd Clan of Hammon, OK and has learned much from the tribe’s elders. The talk will focus on the construction, design and meaning of Cheyenne moccasins. Bring your lunch and enjoy the presentation. 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. Admission is free for members; $5 for non-members.
