Bel Air 150 Time Capsule Ceremony

The celebration of Bel Air’s 150th anniversary continues on July 4!
Join us at the bandshell in Shamrock Park following the conclusion of the Independence Day morning events. You will be able to see some of the items taken out of the time capsule buried in 1974 and extracted by Department of Public Works staff this spring.
We also encourage people to bring small items they would like to place in the next time capsule — which will be stored above ground — and opened during the celebration of Bel Air’s 200th anniversary.

Enjoy performances by the Bel Air Community Band and baton twirlers with TwirlTaxTix, along with appearances by Gianna Romero, Miss Bel Air 2024 and members of the Board of Town Commissioners as we celebrate Bel Air’s anniversary and our nation’s independence!
