This May, the Town of Bel Air is celebrating its community partnership with Narva, Estonia. On April 2, 2014, Bel Air and Estonia signed their Sister City agreement via Skype, and both cities have sought ever since to advance goodwill by raising cross-cultural awareness and fostering educational exchanges.
In the spirit of connecting our sister cities, the libraries of Narva and the Bel Air Branch of the Harford County Public Library are hosting a children’s art exchange. The exhibit, Spring in Our Town, showcases artwork by children and teens, preschool through grade 12, from Narva and Harford County. Visit the Bel Air Branch exhibit room until May 31 during regular library hours to enjoy this wonderful cross-cultural exhibition unifying talented young artists and the sister cities of Bel Air and Narva.
