Derby car racing, which has not been seen in downtown Bel Air since the 1960s, returns to Main Street this month. The event, which will feature 10 young racers in cars sponsored by local businesses and organizations, is presented by the Bel Air Lions, the Town of Bel Air and the Bel Air Downtown Alliance.
Start a new tradition and bring the entire family to watch the drivers race each other to the finish line in two heats on Main Street Main Street Bel Air, between Office Street and Lee Way. The race will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Come early and stay on to enjoy all that the Bel Air Arts & Entertainment District has to offer, too!
