The Bel Air A&E District is celebrating Artists Sunday again this year! Artists Sunday, the Sunday after Thanksgiving (November 27), is dedicated to supporting local artists and recognizing the impact they have in enriching our lives, communities, and the economy. Shoppers are encouraged to shop with local artists, creators and makers and purchase creative, handcrafted items and artistic experiences for the holidays. Items made by local artisans make thoughtful and unique gifts!
In the District, we have plenty of shops that carry local artists’ work. Have you checked out the wide selection of locally made products at the Nest and Mannequin on Main? And of course, we are proud that Harford Artists Gallery is located in the heart of the A&E District in Armory Marketplace. Their Wonders of Winter exhibit features the work of almost 70 Harford County artists and 200 pieces of local art!
Artists Sunday is positioned during the year’s busiest holiday shopping weekend, Artists Sunday, falls between Black Friday, Small Business Saturday® and Cyber Monday. Artists Sunday unites artists and communities across the country, all promoting purchases from local artisans.
