Choose unique holiday gifts at the annual Authors and Artists Holiday Gift Sale. Thirty-eight Harford County authors and artists will fill the Bel Air Armory for a one-stop holiday shopping destination on Saturday, November 5th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Shoppers on the hunt for inspired gifts will discover paintings, pottery, jewelry, silver work, laser wood work, fiber art, photography, glass ornaments, prints, note cards, hand-sewn fabrics and much more. The Chesapeake Cancer Alliance will also be here with wreaths and tabletop trees. Harford’s participating authors cover most fiction and non-fiction genres including science fiction, fantasy, suspense, genealogy, nature, children’s books as well as local poetry.
Parking in downtown Bel Air is free on weekends. Additional free parking is available just around the corner on Lee Street at Bel Air Elementary School.
While you’re on Main Street, head to Armory Marketplace (directly behind the Armory through Armory Park) to visit Harford Artists Gallery new Wonders of Winter exhibit with work produced by local artists who are members of the non-profit Harford Artists’ Association. There are also plenty of boutiques to visit while downtown and great places to grab a bite for lunch.
