Downtown Bel Air is filled with wonderful sights and sounds this holiday season.
On Friday, December 9th, the Town of Bel Air and Maryland Conservatory of Music will present Three Piano Players Holiday Concert at the Bel Air Armory. Chris Sengstacke, Andrew Lewis and Duke Thompson will share music from the holidays and more, including guitar, drums, and keyboards. Tickets are $10 at the door. Ages 18 and under are free.
Sunday, December 11th at 3:00pm, the Bel Air Community Band will be performing their holiday concert at the Bel Air High School. Always a great event to help kick off the season, the Community Band concert is free of charge and will leave you humming holiday favorites for days.
Just a few days later, the Downtown Alliance will be hosting Girls’ Night Out. The Girls’ Night Out kicks off at 5pm on December 15th at the Harford Artists Gallery (37 N Main Street, behind the Armory) where you can enjoy local art and a glass of wine before you head out to shop, dine and explore Downtown Bel Air. Be sure to check out the Girls’ Night Out participating stores and restaurants on the Downtown Alliance website. http://belairmaryland.org/
Tuba Christmas at will be held at Bel Air High School this year on December 18th. Musicians arrive at 2:00 (any tuba player can join the fun!) and the performance is at 5:00pm. This concert featuring tuba players from all across the region is a fun way to keep you in the spirit. Plenty of downtown restaurants will be open following the performance so plan to stay downtown for a bite to eat.
And of course you can stroll through Bel Air any time to take in the holiday lights and decorations. Be sure to include Town Hall on your walk to enjoy all the decorations there including the official Town Christmas tree!
